The food tasted great and had large portions. I ordered a steak that came with two sides. I got applesauce and fries, and the amount of food that came out for me was easily enough for two people! They gave us popcorn when we sat down, and I probably wouldn’t have eaten any of I knew how much food was going to come out!
This was a last option visit due to our main place of choice being closed unknowingly. Let me tell you that we were beyond pleased with our visit! From the arrival, to being seated, drink delivery, ordering, service was phenomenal and the food . We definitely will be back!
Best place to go for a home cooked meal! We were seated right away..drink order's taken immediately..we ordered roast beef dinner's...roast beef was tender, melt in your mouth delicious...with mashed potato's and a side salad.. Relaxing atmosphere...total order with 3 drink's each plus tip came to $60.00...wonderful experience...I highly recommend Anchor Inn!
Saturday, May 31st, was the last day of service. The owners are retiring. The food, service, and atmosphere was always great. Best wishes and enjoy your retirement!
The food was very good and tasted good. The thick crust pizza is extremely think while the thin crust is more like a normal pizza. Overall a good experience and the appetizers were very good. I recommend the mini tacos and the cheese balls.
Our first time going there. The prices on Google are incorrect and need updated kinda gave me a scare when I got the check. That being said the food was excellent! Wings were great the fries could of used some salt i did not detect any but overall really good
I have never been to this place. It isn't in my neighborhood. I searched Google for a nearby restaurant and this was the closest to me. I am pleasantly satisfied with my fried cod, fries with gravy and seasoned wings. The coffee was hot and fresh. Autumn was my server and she did a wonderful job of checking in and keeping my coffee filled. The establishment itself, from the outside, doesn't look like anything special. But let me say, the staff and the food are a hidden treasure!! Very happy and I will definitely come back if I am in the area again!!
